The monument to Anton Bruckner was donated by the Akademische Gesangverein (Academic Choral Society), of which Bruckner was an honorary member, and was installed in the Arkadenhof (arcaded courtyard) of the University of Vienna in 1912. It was designed by the sculptor Joseph Tautenhayn jun.
